new york city foodsteps

Never been disappointed here (Jersey City outpost), in the five times or so I’ve been here in the past six years.

Two classic Indian appetizers put together, and see how pretty they’ve been put together! Papad and bhel

Called methi paneer tikki, these are more like potato patties with a touch of cottage cheese and fenugreek leaves. I liked it, the other three in my party including the hub did not, as much.

Amiya paneer – a rich curry.

Malai kofta – again, a differently rich curry and a softly dense kofta (gnocchi types, if you will – minus the eggs)

Dal tadka
